Most towns in New York and Connecticut require that professional exterminators perform rodent demolition services before contractors and other companies can request and be granted a demolition permit. This process is put into effect for the community’s best interest. The town must be sure that after the demolition process is completed that existing mice and rats will not have the ability to relocate elsewhere, negatively impacting the neighboring structures.
